Bridgestone Pro Tyre Shop Join in Earth Hour

Earth Hour is the world's biggest collective environmental action, and a commitment made by individuals, communities, businesses and governments worldwide. Hong Kong joined Earth Hour in 2009. Since then, at 8:30pm on the last Saturday in March each year, skyscrapers, homes and landmarks across the city go dark.

Starting from this year, BRIDGESTONE PRO TYRE SHOP will participate in this activity. On 31st March 2012, next Saturday, our shop will turn off the signboard light at 8:30 pm for one hour. We invite everyone to join in this (register link), and support energy-saving activities in our daily lives.

For the protection of envirnoment, we are one of the first in Hong Kong to use non-lead weight for tire balancing since year 2007. This is to reduce drop-out lead from vehicles polluting our air, soil and water. In year 2010, we start to sell Bridgestone's fuel efficient tire ECOPIA. Recently, we also start to use LED light bulb to save enegry.

Let's take actions together for a better and sustainable future for our next generation.
